Sirens of Smoke — Feamainn
Sirens of Smoke

A world of allure and danger, revealed one chapter at a time.

What is Sirens of Smoke

Sirens of Smoke is a mythical world built to be felt before it’s understood.

Created by Kim Rivera, a designer and creative director who brings untamed sirens to life through handmade couture garments and immersive storytelling, currently staged as narrated catwalks and guided whisky tastings, each siren born from the elements of peated whisky.

The project rejects the mundane: built for collectors, artists, and the culturally curious, drawn to mystery before they need it explained.

Chapter One

Where mist clings to the moorlands and smoke drifts slowly across the sea, they linger: the Sirens of Smoke. Older than the first fire that blackened stone, they dwell in the breath of peat, the warmth of copper stills, the hush of warehouse stone.

They do not lure with their voice, but with scent, salted, smoky, impossible to forget. Not flesh and form, but forces of nature, bound to the elements they protect: the coastal air, the untamed peat, the smoke that lingers in the living grain, the liquid gold that matures deep within noble oak.

To follow a siren is to surrender to the transformation. So inhale deeply, and let yourself be seduced.

The Show · Edinburgh, May 2025

More than a collection

Chapter One was never only garments. On a rooftop above Edinburgh, the sirens were revealed on a candlelit catwalk and led an intimate audience through a guided tasting, couture, narrative, and peated whisky, bound into a single evening.

The Maker

Kim Rivera

Kim Rivera has never been able to stay still. She builds imagined worlds and rarely stops, drawn always to the wilder, darker end of beauty, in fashion and in spirit alike.

A designer and creative director, she conceives, makes, and stages every siren herself. Sirens of Smoke is where all her creative obsessions collide: a refusal to make anything ordinary, and a hedonist’s pull toward taste, spirit, and sensation. Not fashion, not a tasting, but something rarer, made whole by a single hand.

This is not a destination. It is an appetite that cannot be satisfied, followed wherever it leads.

In Creation

Chapter Two

Something darker is already taking shape. More daring, more dangerous, in design, in story, and in material. It is being made now. What it becomes is still being written.

Follow the Lure

Let the sirens draw you in

Each chapter, revealed slowly. The making, the thinking, the world as it takes shape. Once you’ve entered, it doesn’t quite let you leave.
